How do I order?

For first-time online customers, place items in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Once you’ve placed your first order, you will be able to place future orders by simply entering in your online user name and password. Then, all of your account information, order history, reminders, wish lists, etc. will be available for easy, informative future ordering. If you checkout as a Guest, your information will not be saved.

How can I track my order?

You can review the status of any order by logging into your account. From there, you will be able to view and track your orders. You will also receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your package leaves our facility.

What methods of payment do you offer?

We accept Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & PayPal. We also offer NET 30 billing terms to approved accounts.

All New-Facility orders, meaning orders that are typically over $10,000 are discounted even further. In that case, your order must be paid via wire transfer to our bank account (the preferred way) or you may mail a certified bank check, which takes longer to process. Be aware that your bank may charge you a nominal fee to wire funds to our bank account. These charges are not our responsibility.

Shipping and Returns

How much do you charge for shipping?

We negotiate the best possible deals with FedEx and the major LTL freight carriers. For an instant shipping quote, simply add whatever you'd like to your cart and go to checkout. Once at checkout, before you are ever asked for payment information, simply hit the Ground button and it will calculate your shipping estimate. Our system is only so accurate, so if you purchase some larger items that are required to ship via LTL carrier, we may need to ask for additional funds to continue with your order.

When will my order ship?

Most orders for products that are in stock received by 1pm CST (Monday through Friday) will usually ship within 24 hours if they are in stock.

When will my backorder arrive?

Backorders are processed as quickly as the product is received from our vendors. Most backorders ship on the very same day of receiving our stock. All backorders are shipped before any other orders.

Do you ship internationally?

Tartan Group will only ship to the 48 contiguous United States. We do, however, welcome international customers to buy from us. In that case, please email customerservice@tartangroup.com the product numbers that you wish to purchase and quantities. We will be happy to email you back the estimated total cost, along with the number of boxes, weights of each box, dimensions of each box and pick-up address. You can arrange with your own freight forwarder like DHL, UPS or FedEx to pick up your order after you wire transfer your funds to our bank account (bank details will be emailed to you once you choose to purchase said items).
