The Com-Pressor Belt

The Com-Pressorâ„¢ is a superior pelvic compression belt that helps promote pelvic and core stability during retraining of impaired lumbo-pelvic core muscles that may develop from pregnancy, surgery, sprains and more.
 
Developed by Diane Lee, PT, the patented Com-Pressor allows both the location and level of compression to be easily adjusted around the pelvic girdle using individually applied elastic compression bands. The user places the inelastic belt on first and, then, the support bands can be applied exactly where support is needed. For example, Diane Lee performs a test where she compresses the pelvis in different positions and has the patient lift each leg. Once determining which compression positions yielded the best results, the bands can be placed in those exact spots for personalized relief.
 
The Com-Pressor pelvic belt is ideal for a number of lumbo-pelvic conditions, from postpartum women to those recovering from injuries such as groin strains, lower abdominal strains, sacroiliac joint instability, hernia, osteitis pubis or impaired core muscle function. It helps restore a functional corset of pelvic compression allowing confident and comfortable core muscle re-training and strengthening.
 
Non-slip comfort assures user compliance and maximum results, and the low profile design allows patients to wear The Com-Pressor under clothing without unsightly bulkiness. Each Com-Pressor includes one inelastic belt, four elastic compression straps and an instruction booklet;replacement straps are available separately. This product contains latex.

SHIPPING OPTIONS
Most orders are shipped via UPS whenever possible, however, larger products are shipped via motor freight.
Shipping charges are prepaid and added to your invoice.

Motor Freight LTL (Less Than Truckload) Shipments - It is your responsibility to prepare and arrange for your own receiving, unpacking, placement of merchandise and removal/disposal of product packaging. Tartan Group covers the cost of these two additional services only:

  • 24 Hour Advance Notice - Where the trucking company calls you in advance to notifiy you of when they will deliver the product(s).
  • Lift Gate Service - If your facility does not have a loading dock, a special truck with a hi-lo platform will be dispatched to make the delivery in order to bring your product(s) down to street level.

You may, however, request to include this additional service for an additional $150 (PLEASE CALL 800-279-5955 TO ADD THIS SERVICE TO YOUR ORDER).

  • Inside Delivery - Where the trucker brings your merchandise within the first threshold of the building. IMPORTANT: You must be sure that your doorway will accommodate the size of each product or else the driver cannot perform the inside delivery.

Please allow up to 4-6 weeks delivery time for furniture, mats, capital equipment & any products with custom colors.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS OR REFUSAL TO RECEIVE DELIVERIES: IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER AFTER A PRODUCT HAS ALREADY SHIPPED TO YOU OR YOU REFUSE TO RECEIVE YOUR DELIVERY, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEES INCURRED UP TO THAT POINT, WHICH INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: DELIVERY CHARGES, RETURN DELIVERY CHARGES, RESTOCKING FEES AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEES).

DAMAGED GOODS:
Damaged or short shipments must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the order.
Inspect all cartons for damage immediately upon receiving. If a shipment arrives damaged or if the box appears damaged, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Note damage on the delivery bill and have the driver sign it, acknowledging the damage.
  • Contact Tartan Group Customer Service within 48 hours of receiving shipment at 1-800-279-5955 to start processing an insurance claim. An order will be entered at that time to replace the merchandise.
  • Save the container and merchandise for inspection.
